As we continue with the exposition of the Book of Esther, when I was reading Chapter 5 I felt that the story was incomplete and there was nothing much to share. Then I continued to read Chapters 6 and 7 and couldn’t stop thinking about Proverbs Chapter 16 for Haman never thought about the consequences of his actions for we reap what we saw even if it is late but certainly, we reap more than what we sow. Ecclesiastes 10:8a says “He who digs a pit may fall into it…” Therefore, walk humbly before the sight of the Mighty God Jehovah for He “resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6 NKJV and 1 Peter 5:5.
Whatever you do, always remember to treat others as you would like them to treat you! I like how the Message Bible puts this verse into perspective, be blessed. “Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God’s Law and Prophets and this is what you get.” Matthew 7:12 MSG
