We all face challenges, discouragements, and opposition in life. However, how we respond determines our level of maturity and commitment to our healing journey and growth. I want to challenge you this morning to read Acts Chapter 9 five times and please read it VERY slowly to allow the Holy Spirit to show you the nuggets in the passages of these scriptures. The chapter starts by revealing the zeal and Saul’s passion, however, the hand of YHW grabbed him and he experienced His grace and mercy. Subsequently, he couldn’t keep his mouth shut!
“Saul Preaches Christ
20 Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God. 21 Then all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?” 22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.” Acts 9:20-22 NKJV
Therefore, what are you proclaiming? Is your life surrounded by gossip and other people’s stories or do you focus on the things that matter the most? As for me, I choose the testimony of Christ Jesus my Saviour! I pray that Abba Father gives you strength and the ability to ignore the negative things happening around you that were meant and designed to discourage you. I pray for zeal and faith in the name of Jesus. Lastly, may Saul’s courage and boldness about the testimony of Christ touch our hearts and be meaningful to us in times of trouble for we should not be discouraged when people remind us of our past while we have been fully transformed into Christ’s likeness as the Holy Spirit does not need any introduction when He is working in our lives, but the fruits are visible and we will increase all the more in strength.
#I was once lost, confused and downcast, but the love of Abba Father found me!
#Lord Jesus, I thank You for the gift of salvation!
#“Therefore, I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3 NKJV
