My heart is filled with gratitude and the whole week I have been doing stocktaking and all I concluded with was: thank You Jehovah for hiding me under Your shelter, preparing a table in the presence of my enemies, and making a way in the wilderness! Lord Jesus, I am grateful for the season of reflection and solitude. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit that speaks directly to us and points us to Christ. Oh! Lord God the Almighty, I am grateful for the finished work of the cross.
Many scriptures have ministered to me during this season, and I would like to invite you to do stocktaking to see how great the Lord has been to you. I am sure once you’re done Psalm chapter 146 will be true to you as well. Below is the direct extract from the Message Bible and be blessed!
“ 1-2 Hallelujah!
O my soul, praise God!
All my life long I’ll praise God, singing songs to my God as long as I live.
3-9 Don’t put your life in the hands of experts who know nothing of life, of salvation life.
Mere humans don’t have what it takes; when they die, their projects die with them.
Instead, get help from the God of Jacob, put your hope in God and know real blessing!
God made sky and soil, sea and all the fish in it.
He always does what he says—
He defends the wronged,
He feeds the hungry.
God frees prisoners—
He gives sight to the blind,
He lifts up the fallen.
God loves good people, protects strangers, takes the side of orphans and widows, but makes short work of the wicked.
10 God’s in charge—always.
Zion’s God is God for good!
Hallelujah!”
#Abba Father, thank You for all answered prayers!
#thank Lord Jesus for shielding my shame and not allowing my enemies to rejoice over me! #“Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146: 3 NKJV
