The beauty of the truth is that you do not need to write a script and rehearse it; the only things required are the conviction and boldness to maintain and walk in it. It does not take long for cracks to start showing when one has been wearing a mask pretending to be authentic while being driven by selfish desires. The mask is too hot to wear day and night, and when you are untruthful, your story lacks consistency. Unfortunately, every matter under the sun has an expiry date, and it is hard to maintain the truth if it was not grounded in the authentic character because only the house of the righteous shall stand😊 Please take time to read Proverbs chapter 12. You cannot love me today and tomorrow serve me with court papers because of my convictions or publicly humiliate me because of different life perspectives. The truth is accompanied by respect, respect to self and others equally, without any partiality. Eh! Let the fake friends fall, and the frenemies be exposed in the name of Jesus! “Forwe can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.” 2 Corinthians 13:8 NKJV
It is not about the eloquence of our speeches or the material things we possess, but it is about the truth and transformed character. When you walk and model the truth, you have peace in your heart, understanding that your times are in Abba Father’s hands. Psalms 31:15.In John chapter 8, Jesus said, “and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32 NKJV
“37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?”
Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”’ John 18:37 NKJV
I pray for the spirit of discernment to discern the truth from lies. I pray for strength and courage to stand up and stand firm for the truth. May every lie be exposed and trouble return upon those who disturb our peace! “14 Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. 15 He made a pit and dug it out, and he has fallen into the ditch which he made. 16 His trouble shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown.” Psalms 7:14-16 NKJV
