Not one person has not been hurt or disappointed and sometimes hurts and disappointments come from our uncommunicated expectations. However, how one deals with all these hurts and disappointments determines the level of maturity and character that one possesses. I have lived long enough to confidently say that sometimes we are the reason for our disappointments, hurts and shame leading to bitterness, anger, and regrets. Therefore, please communicate your needs and thoughts to people who love and care for you as they are not mind readers. Always remember that where there is no communication there is no alignment. Proverbs 20:27 NKJV says “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.”
I pray that the Lord God the Almighty Jehovah will search our hearts to see if there are any wicked ways or anxieties in us that cause distraction. Psalms chapter 139. May 2025 be the year when we will learn to surrender our hurts and disappointments to YHW so that the healing process starts. For “A man’s steps are of the Lord; how then can a man understand his own way?” Proverbs 20:24 NKJV and “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 NKJV. Oh! How I pray this morning that the Holy Spirit will convict us of sin, righteousness, and judgment to come so that He can lead us to everlasting peace. John 16:8-10.
