Apart from John 3:16 and Jeremiah 29:11, one of the most quoted verses from the Bible is Romans 8:28. However, I am not entirely sure if we truly understand the magnitude of love and the promise of hope in this scripture. For if we did, we wouldn’t be worried about uncertainties, especially when Abba Father has given us the vision and insight of things yet to come. However, we spend most of the time panicking and worrying about how those who are part of the puzzle will react. I am guilty of overanalysing things and always wanting a clear plan, structure and roadmap before making a decision. Even though this has helped me with high discipline and success in my career and academic journey. However, the season I find myself in demands more faith than ever before, not that I need to minimize myself or reduce my standard, but again and again, I am reminded that the just shall live by faith. Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38.
If you are in a season where you need to walk and experience the manifestation of Abba Father’s love and the promise of hope. I am here to tell you today that it is not for you to analyse the will of YHW and demand the roadmap of His predestination. However, your job is to have faith in HIM, knowing that “ALL things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” The scripture does not say some things, but rather says, ALL things work together for good! Therefore, let hope arise and have faith in GOD!
“28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.” Romans 8:28-30 NKJV
“22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:22-24 NKJV
Abba Father, please forgive us for not completely trusting You and Your plan for our lives. I pray for more grace to surrender and wisdom to deal with uncertainties. Holy Spirit transforms us into Christlikeness. May we have peace and hope knowing that all things will work together for our good because we love Jesus. Oh! God the Almighty Jehovah, please shape and mold us to be the vessels You want us to be for You are the Potter and we are the clay in Jesus’ Mighty name I pray.
#it’s time to surrender and let hope arise!
#Holy Spirit, lead and guide me on the way I should take in this season for I do not desire to be found outside Abba Father’s will!
#“O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel! Jeremiah 18:6 NKJV
