I pray that the Lord open our hearts and minds to truly understand what it means to love others as ourselves. Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-31, and Matthew 22:34-40 teach us about the greatest commandments. We first have to love the Lord God the Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth; the Great I AM with everything we have: body, mind, and soul. Secondly, we are commanded to love our neighbours as ourselves. If we truly had a clear revelation of these scriptures, we would not hurt others as we would not like anyone to hurt us. However, because we are so broken that we hate ourselves so much, the evidence is seen in how we treat others. Therefore, how you treat others is a reflection of who you are, how much you love yourself, and your testimony of the kingdom you are representing!
‘28 Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?” 29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”’ Mark 12:28-31 NKJV
Lord Jesus, please teach us how to love as You have loved us. I pray for every soul that is hurting because of bullying and evil around us, may they find peace in You, Jehovah Shalom, for You are our peace! I pray for every teacher, student, parent, mentor, coach, and acquaintance supporting those who are hurting to find wisdom and point the victims to Jesus, who overcame this evil world. John 16:33. I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort every person hurting and remind them that they are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus, our King. Romans 8:31-39.

#“14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:14-19 NKJV
