Have you ever been at your lowest and someone just came and said be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might? Sometimes these were not the words that you wanted to hear at that point in time. However, what if you look beyond those spoken words and examine the Word of God for the prescription of the current circumstance you are facing? Ephesians 6:10-20 reminds us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood and, subsequently, tell us what we need to do in order to remain victorious.
“11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:11-13 NKJV
Therefore, in our healing journey let us please lift our eyes unto the YHW where our help comes from for Adonai Elohim our keeper and He is our shade at our right hand. Psalms chapter 121. If you feel hopeless and everything you planned is failing, I am here to tell you that victory belongs to Jesus and it’s time for you to surrender to allow His will to be done. For your plans are not YHW’s plans nor your ways His ways. “8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV
Lastly, please be encouraged by the following scripture understanding that God knows best and when He closes the door in your face it is because He dearly loves you and He has better things in store for you. Therefore, do not pursue, force, and chase things that are not approved by God for your life. If you are confused, ask Him to reveal His will for the only thing you should be chasing is the righteousness of the King Jesus, not the things of this world that bring more hurt and distract your peace and healing journey.
“3 You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. 4 You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. 5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.” Isaiah 62:3-5 NKJ
