In a world of selfishness where the majority is self-centered, it is very easy for people to build walls of protection around their hearts and shut the doors of empathy. However, this often leads to insensitive, unsympathetic and hard-hearted. Jesus warned us about offenses in Luke 17:1-4 and Matthew 18:6-9; please take time to read these passages of scripture and do some introspection as sometimes offenses can be the mirror of unresolved issues within us. Carl Jung said, “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” Therefore, deal with the unresolved issues that trigger you to be offended, learn to forgive and move on for life is a beautiful gift from YHW!
“Jesus Warns of Offenses
1Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”” Luke 17:1-4 NKJV
“Jesus Warns of Offenses
6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes! 8 “If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.” Matthew 18:6-9 NKJV
I pray for healing and restoration through forgiveness in the name of Jesus! Mark 11:25. Have a blessed weekend!

#unforgiveness is the only prison where offenders or prisoners are incarcerated and can also free themselves!
