The foundation determines the resilience or weakness of the structure. In Psalms chapter 11, David asks a beautiful question: “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalms 3:11 NKJV. When you know that your name is a global brand, you are careful how and where you advertise. Today, I want to thank my Daddy and my God for giving me the grace to study and build the foundation for my business, as I will be celebrating being conferred as a Chartered Governance Professional, walking the stage not just as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow from the University of the land but also as a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of South Africa. In May, my business will be turning three (3) years old, and the Holy Spirit has been faithful, as many start-ups fail within 18 months. However, we are getting stronger every day, and today, I will be receiving the first qualification that was inspired and fully financed by PhinHope (Pty) Ltd. Therefore, walking that stage at Wits tonight will not just be an achievement but a pride of my brainchild and the resilience of the African soil. 😊 I own and manage the start-up, not stuck up, and we might start small, but our end will be great! Job 8:7.
This was not going to happen without the grace of God, faith in Jesus, and the blessing of the following destiny helpers, whom I want to thank very much. To my study partners, Nokuphiwa and Selma, you are simply the best! To Professor Kawadza, Professor Moraka, Blessing, Paul, Andile, Elmarie, Betty, and Amorette; may the Lord God the Almighty Jehovah bless you abundantly for all the support you provided to make this journey a success. You have indeed proven the philosophy of ubuntu, as they say: “umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”; “I am because you are!”
To those who have the grace and capacity to study but do not optimize their giftedness, please do not be like the man who buried his talent in Matthew 25:14-30. To those who do not have the grace for academia or are academically gifted, please find your own niche areas, for we are all blessed and excel in the areas that we are graced with. For example, an eagle will fail dismally when you make it swim and compete with a fish, and a fish cannot compete with an eagle. However, when you leave fish in the water and allow the eagle to fly, these animals will excel because Jehovah God graced them to be in these areas. Therefore, if you are a parent of a child with special needs or gifted differently than you, please do not be hard on your child; support him or her to recognise and discover his or her own niche areas, and always be kind.
