It is human to doubt and logical to think of past events as the guiding principles of success or stumbling blocks towards our destiny. I want to remind you of who you are, for the day you were born, Adonai Elohim already predestined your paths and anointed you as His priest. “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV. Therefore, there is no need to doubt or question the plan of God over your life for His plans are sovereign and you need to trust Him with all your heart “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV.
From your youth, you loved Jesus and obeyed His statutes, for you are a priest by birth. Subsequently, all your life, you trusted Abba Father’s providence and have been waiting for His promises to be fulfilled in your life. So why do you doubt when the Lord God the Almighty, the Holy One of Israel, the Great I AM, presents your long-lasting petitions for you to witness the fulfilment of the scriptures in your life? You prayed for God’s very best, and when He answered your prayers, now you are saying, “It’s too good to be true!” What’s up with you, beloved priest? Can I remind you of a few verses that prove the faithfulness of our God and the benefit of patiently waiting upon Him?
“3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalms 37:3-5 NKJV
“1To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. 2 O my God, I trust in You; let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me. 3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.” Psalms 25:1-3 NKJV
“28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might, He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-30 NKJV
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.
26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame.
27 Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.” Joel 2:25-27 NKJV
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalms 84:11 NKJV
