May we not be persuaded by the temporal things, but rather strive for the eternal matters. “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” Mark 8:38 NKJV
So, what drives your proclivity for persuasion in life or this season? Perhaps you are asking a question or do not see the point of living a life with a dead hope and believe that Jesus will raise you on the last day. Well, His peace is eternal, igniting the dying hope, knowing that His love is unconditional and He does not treat us as our sins deserve. Psalms 1-3:10-13. May you be blessed by the following scriptures.
34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”
35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:34-40 NKJV
“Seeing the Invisible
16 Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NKJV
Whoever you are or wherever you might find yourself as you read this message, I pray for faith to arise and the eyes of your understanding to be opened, not to be persuaded by the things which are seen only, but be hungry and thirst for righteousness in Christ Jesus our Lord. Lastly, please do not look at your circumstances, but look at what God can do with your circumstances, for victory belongs to Yeshua Hamashiach and by no means will He ever cast you out. Therefore, trust the Almighty God Jehovah for He knows best and His plans for your life are not to harm you but to prosper you! Jeremiah 29:11.
