When you know whose servant you are, you not only serve your master with loyalty and honour, but you also dress according to the protocols of the office you possess. For your appearance matters to both the office you are representing and the position you hold. For example, no car will stop on the road if the traffic officer is on his/her cycling gear; however, every driver on the road respects every officer fully dressed in their uniform. This is just an illustration, forget about the fraud or impersonated police officer, but I hope you get the point that I am trying to make. In this season, Season 7 – I just want to provoke you in love and stir the fire inside you to remember your identity! Please read the scripture below slowly and pray that the Holy Spirit open up your eyes to the nuggets hidden in these verses as they affirm the servant of the Mighty God Jehovah!
“The Servant of the Lord
1“Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. 4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands shall wait for His law.” 5 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it:
6 “I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles, 7 To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. 8 I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images. 9 Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.”’ Isaiah 42:1-9 NKJV
If you are not too sure whose servant you are, I pray that the love of God becomes visible to you in Christ Jesus our Lord. I pray for everyone walking in the love of God to be inspired by the Holy Spirit and discover their calling, for the fulfillment in life only starts the day you discover your purpose here on earth. I pray for clarity for those who know for sure that they have a higher calling in their lives but are uncertain where they should serve. I pray for open doors of opportunity for those who have discovered the areas and structures where they can glorify YHW with their giftedness. Lastly, I pray for faithfulness and humility to everyone serving in Abba Father’s vineyard for “those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalms 92:13 NKJV
