We are living in the last days, where the truth is twisted, authenticity is mocked, and purity is ridiculed. Self-appointments are on the rise, and some use the gospel and house of worship for personal gain. The message of Christ is about repentance, salvation, restoration, and reconciliation between God and man, leading to peace. How can you be at peace with God and be in war with fellow men? The true God and true religion are about love, not hate! The house of worship is about praise and worship, not business transactions or entertainment!
“15 Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: 16 The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; 17 but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. 18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.” Philippians 1:15-18 NKJV
If I were to pray for only one thing, I would pray for the spirit of discernment for the Holy Spirit to show me the things, the ways they are not how they are presented to me. However, if I were to lose everything, there is only one thing I cannot live without, which is the PRESENCE of the Mighty God Jehovah. It is the presence of YHW that determines the self-appointed from God’s appointment! You can speak the language, but the presence of God will speak volumes! In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus said, “…by their fruits you will know them.” Matthew 7:15-20.
The strength and power that Joshua had did not come from his intellect or his association with Moses, for the approximate does not give security of the anointing. No, it came with the Great I Am because the appointment came from God, not from Joshua himself. “7 And the Lord said to Joshua, “This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. 8 You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you have come to the edge of the water of the Jordan, you shall stand in the Jordan.’ ”’ Joshua 3:7-8 NKJV
However, not so with Adonijah when his father, David, was old, please read 1 Kings chapter 1. The Bible tells us that “And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” Matthew 23:12 NKJV. “17 So, let anyone who wants to boast, boast about Adonai; 18 because it is not the one who recommends himself who is worthy of approval, but the one whom the Lord recommends.” 2 Corinthians 10:17-18 CJB. Therefore, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. 8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.” Colossians 3:1-11 NKJV
