It is impossible to encounter Jesus and still retain a dull face. The psalmist says, “3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah” 4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.” Psalms 46:3-4 NKJV
If you feel overwhelmed this morning, I want you to shift the focus from your problems and glance at the beauty of Yeshua’s majesty for He is worthy of all our praise. This is not a false hope, but I promise you that the day will not end without you experiencing the indescribable peace and joy. I pray that your heart will not be troubled by the distractions of this world but believe in Jesus, for He cares for you. John 14:1. I pray that the Holy Spirit minister to you in your situation in order for you to testify about the goodness of the Lord. May the rivers of the living water flow in your heart for it is the Holy Spirit that gives us life in Christ Jesus, our King! Be blessed by the following passage of scripture:
“19 In the evening that same day, the first day of the week, when the talmidim were gathered together behind locked doors out of fear of the Judeans, Yeshua came, stood in the middle and said, “Shalom aleikhem!” 20 Having greeted them, He showed them His hands and His side. The talmidim were overjoyed to see the Lord. 21 “Shalom aleikhem!” Yeshua repeated. “Just as the Father sent me, I myself am also sending you.” 22 Having said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Ruach HaKodesh! 23 If you forgive someone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you hold them, they are held.” John 20:19-23 CJB
“19-20 Later on that day, the disciples had gathered together, but, fearful of the Jews, had locked all the doors in the house. Jesus entered, stood among them, and said, “Peace to you.” Then he showed them his hands and side. 20-21 The disciples, seeing the Master with their own eyes, were awestruck. Jesus repeated his greeting: “Peace to you. Just as the Father sent me, I send you.” 22-23 Then he took a deep breath and breathed into them. “Receive the Holy Spirit,” he said. “If you forgive someone’s sins, they’re gone for good. If you don’t forgive sins, what are you going to do with them?” John 20:19-23 MGS
“The Apostles Commissioned
19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” John 20:19-23 NKJV
May this be the season of peace to you and your family! Remember to “6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV
