As we conclude Ruth Chapter 3, let us zoom into Naomi’s coaching to Ruth for those who are wise enough to understand the impact of mentors and coaches, will certainly appreciate sound guidance. When God blesses you with Godly counsel please listen attentively to your mentors and coaches for there are blindspots that they see in you that you might not even be aware of. In Ruth 3:3, Naomi recognized that the time for mourning for Ruth was over and she advised her to wash her face, put on a nice perfume, and the best dress, and then go out. 😊 Now in Ruth 3:18, Naomi is telling Ruth to wait until the deal is finalized. 😊
“Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”” Ruth 3:18 NKJV
Isaiah 40:31 says, “ But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” NKJV. Therefore, I find joy in waiting with a purpose for if I can wait for five years then waiting for five months to finalize the deal will be a great blessing and evidence of Abba Father fulfilling His Word as promised in Jeremiah 1:12.
#wait upon the Lord
#patience is key and please don’t be hasty to make lifetime decisions
#never waste your waiting period but equip yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you for the journey ahead!
Amen
