The relationship Ruth had with her mother-in-law is phenomenal. Represents understanding, love, care, respect, and unselfishness from both parties. Please observe their conversation in Ruth 2:17-23 and go back to Chapter 1 to understand where I am coming from when speaking about mutual respect and unselfishness.
So, what happens when the mother-in-law is a monster-in-law? Can it be because of the lack of understanding and absence of communication from the parties involved? Remember marriage is made of imperfect people and all role players are also imperfect but if Christ is the bond nothing is impossible. Therefore, please allow open and honest communication for any uncommunicated expectation kills any relationship!
