James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 NKJV. How many times have we hurt ourselves because we thought we had it all together while what we had was only based on our experience or the experiences of those who coach and guide us? The reality, truth and peace are found in an intimate relationship with YHW, the Great I AM! The sooner you realize that you do not have it all together, the sooner you save yourself from regrets and bitterness for in Him there are no regrets. Therefore, I would rather be a fool for Jesus than seek the wisdom of this world for “16 How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.” Proverbs 16:16 NKJV
I do not know where you are in life, but I just want to share a few scriptures that will challenge you to reflect honestly and face reality because in every decision to take there is an outcome and every action you make there is a consequence! Therefore, “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. Proverbs 3:7 NKJV
But “5 Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. 6 Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; love her, and she will keep you. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she will promote you; she will bring you honour, when you embrace her. 9 She will place on your head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory she will deliver to you.” Proverbs 4:5-9 NKJV
For “11 For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.” Proverbs 8:11 NKJV
